Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information DataMasterSQL may receive through the http://data-master-sql.tech/ website, the DataMasterSQL application, and related services, and how we use and protect that information.
1. Information we collect
When you use the website, we may receive technical information normally sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, request time, and similar non-identifying diagnostics.
When you submit an email address to access downloads or release notifications, we store that email address to unlock the download page and send messages related to DataMasterSQL.
When you purchase a license, we may receive information needed to process the order and issue an activation code, including email address, order identifier, payment status, and license parameters. Payment details are processed by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
2. Data inside the application
DataMasterSQL is a desktop SQL client. Database connections, passwords, SSH keys, and the contents of your databases are not sent to our servers merely because you use the application.
Connection details may be stored locally on your device in the application settings. You are responsible for securing your device, database accounts, and backups.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide the website and application, process download requests, issue and validate licenses, support users, improve the product, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your email address for third-party advertising.
4. Third-party services
We may use third-party providers for payments, email delivery, hosting, analytics, or technical support. They receive only the information needed to perform the relevant service.
If you follow external links, such as GitHub or a payment provider page, data processing on those websites is governed by their own policies.
5. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including license support, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or cancellation of email communications, unless we must keep certain information for legitimate legal or business reasons.
To opt out of email notifications, contact support from the email address you want removed.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, website, or legal requirements change. The updated version applies when posted on the website, unless it states another effective date.
